first official week of class starts tomorrow, im excited, since tomorrow, im going to the classes i havent been too yet. woo hum core and irish dance!
last week has been heellla bomb. west side story auditions for dance were sooo intense, but it put me in check, showing me how i looove dance. missed the saosin concert, but it happens.
mixer was last week too. for the record, i love my friends, from the past and the present. they got my back :] especiallt when things get AWKWARD. hahahah.
thursday was the first day of class. drama dance and aids seems extremely interesting, glad i chose those classes :]
im switching my major this week. since i can’t get to journalism until sophomore year, i’m going into history so at least im in the school of humanties.
the nights have been very entertaining at uci. even if i dont go to the parties or whatever, i’m still loving it here.
since i write about whats up with me, yall should tell me whats up with you! i feel lost when it comes to other people’s lives when im not with them all the time.

i haven’t been taking alot of pictures while we’ve been here, which kinda sucks, but oh well. so to remember, time to write!
first day, move in. i got here first with emma my dad my mom and my little cousin. hella unpacked all fast, my dads a machine. my room was all messed, my dad was messing with me the whole way. kathryn came with her immediate fam, it was soo nice to see them again. well, after we at least unloaded the car, we ate at mesa commons. my dad liked it, hah. after, i took my cousin and my dad and emma to the main campus and we werent around ring road, seeing the park and how nice it is. then it was the goodbyes. my dad i think took it the hardest, which was a little weird considering i didnt live with him. he gave me this go away talk, and my cousin just laughed, hahah. i walked all of them to the parkng structure, did the hug and kiss thing, and lleft. wooo! on my own!
i unpacked while kathryn did too. we went around, met a few of out suitemates, theyre so sweet! it was jsut the girls move in today in our hall, so no testostorone yet, haha. kelsey moved in today too, so we hung at her hall and such. that night, we went to cha for tea for boba and watched mean girls in our hall and ate licorice before the guys got here, haha. oh! and our ra is the funniest person ever. she’s always bubbly all the time!
mmmk sunday was more moving in. met more people, and the rest of the scpa clan came over. went to each other’s dorms, did all that visiting and such. met up with my spop roommate to get books and to catch up on life. later on, we have dinner with our hall, got to talk to more people, met my little cousin’s friend who lives in my hall, what a small world. then the first hall meeting. saw everyone at the same place for the first time. did the whole “namee, major, and song of the moment.” i like the dicersity in our hall. every different race, a few twins in here, so many different interest. haha but not when like half of our hall are bio sci majors, haha. after all that policy stuff, we had a late night jam session, sooo cute! guitars, vocals, cello, harmonica, piano, violin, sax, so crazy! everyone was sooo good. that night, i went over to arielles since charise wasn’t there and kept her company for a while. hahaha ryan came over too and she told us all the craziness in her hall, hahha soo hilarious. CHEESE! and sitting on pillows. hahaha.after that, me kathryn tracy and ryan got into his car and went around few blocks in irvine. then, sleep.
monday was craaazy. new student convocation, soooo many people. listened to the dean, the asuci pres, and a hilarious physics professor. split up into our schools, head more info, then it was the anteater involvement fair with the clubs and greek things all lined up in ring road, chaos i swear. signed up for the news paper, wanted to get to kababayan and hip hop congress, but kaba was too packed, and i couldnt find the congress. saw more spoppers and a few staffers, like chris! love that guy fersure. after i went to my room and hellllaaaa practiced for my audition that night. it was nice having people in my hall greeting me good luck and stuff. and a few of my suite mates were auditioning too, so it was nice to have that incommon.
i went to check in at 8. i met some of the people auditioning with me, they were transfers so it was nice to have a sense of “we’re all new, it’s not so bad.” sooo, went in. soooo many directors! but it was easy, since i didnt have to sing. not required! yay, haha. after, there was the late night at the arc, more meeting people and touring the niiiiice rec center. they had demonstrations on everthing, so sick. im glad in taking dance there. also saw people from quest dance crew! so tight. ryan conferido, suuper cute :] and lydia paek was there too, shes soo good. after we went out, then a looong wait until the shuttle bus got there. more meeting people, then got back, hung with julia and amanda our suite mates and their friend caitlyn. then tracy slept in our room since james was talking on the fone and such. and now, i’m here on a tuesday morning, the lunatics asleep, and me awake. ill start taking pictures now.
ahhh i’ve never ahd such a stressful week. people who know me know that i really don’t get mad and i don’t get headaches. well i totally did this week, hoooly crap. i got nothing done except see scpa. other than that, it was just straight up crap. the only funny thing was that when my mom was filling out a form, under “race” she put “brown”, hahahaha.
well, tomorrows the big move. i feel like im bringing too much. actually, i know im bringing too much. a big box, a medium box, three small boxes, a small suitcase, my viola, a bag with a pillow and an ironing board and detergent. oh and a big ass mirror. yes, i overpack, but i don’t wanna buy anything when i get there. ahhhh i can’t wait. i’m not ready though, because shoooot, i don’t know my material for my audition yet. damn it. well i do, but i need to hellllaaaa cut. deng it!
but im still stoked.
ahh and i found out today that miley cyrus is having her birthday on october 5th from 6pm to 11pm, the same day i and a few cool peeps are going for my birthday. she may cut that dland visit short, but she won’t ruin it!
